Do you enjoy playing Caravan?

I searched for disscussion on Caravan but didn't find anything.

What are your thoughts on Caravan?

Do you play it often, sometimes, or not at all?

Do you get deep into it, building decks and challenging all other players?

I'm asking as I've had a lot of fun playing this against a few players. I played my first against Ringo when you meet him and really enjoyed it. Started looking for cards and finding others to play with. It's a fun way to earn some caps if you know what your doing. I also like how it's not found in the casinos and you have to find opponents through normal discovery. I'm just wondering if others enjoy it like I do.

I haven't got a clue on how to play it and I've never really bothered with it enough to learn.

I prefer blackjack myself.

It took me a while to wrap my brain around it (in-game instructions are terrible), but once I did I find it fun. It's certainly one of those games that would only work with a computer handling the rules, though. Trying to play in the real world would be like playing Calvinball with a parrot.

Anyone playing on PC who enjoys Caravan should definitely check out the http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49292/?. It makes a whole bunch of little changes that make the game much more engaging. I've legitimately lost with a half-complete 6/10/K uberdeck. I'd prefer if you were limited to building your deck from a single standard 52+2 card deck (would make the game -really- challenging), and I'd love to have the first player be randomly selected rather than always being the AI, but those are minor issues.
