I haven't installed any new mod recently (though I use the FCOM super pack) but suddenly whenever I save the game crashes.

That's a bit weird but I can load a save from 2 hours back or more and it works perfectly again.

I got this problem yesterday and eventually I loaded that save game but now I got the same problem again and the thing that's really weird is that if I load any of the dussin of saved games I have up until this point I can't save after loading them either even though it was no problem at all before. The game have even crashed a couple of times so I have already loaded those saved games and saved afterwards and it worked but now they're suddenly broken or corrupt somehow, it defies all logic but I can't do anything about it and I can't seam to get anywhere at all now.

I'm about 260-280 hours in and had to reset my save using OAF recently if that could have caused this somehow.

Either way it's so weird and completely gamebreaking.

Have anyone else experienced this? I couldn't find anything at all about it, there was one guy who had a similar problem (couldn't save in Bruma but I tried going to the Imperial City and used pcb but no luck) but no solution.

Edit: When I save the game and it crashes the corrupt save file that is created is only 128kb, this is almost the exact same size as just before you leave the imperial prision in the beginning.

I'm up in about 12mb otherwise.

What's a BAK file? I seam to have a couple in my save game folder but they don't seam to be updated when I save.

They were updated an hour or 2 (I think) after I reset my save with OAF so it's not that they suddenly didn't work but there could still be some error.

I can't create new saves using the menu either though.
