Question on RealvisionENB

I used this mod with a ton of other graphical mods on my gaming PC and the FPS wasn't the strongest but it was well worth it for the graphics. This was back in like... 6 months ago. After about 1 week of playing Skyrim with this I began to get some CTD's while playing the game. At first it was rare, then it started to happen once every two hours to once an hour, and it got to the point where it CTD'd every 15 minutes or so. It started to annoy me so I just took it off it just played it with the other graphical mods. Not too much longer after this, my PC began to make weird noises and I later came to a realization that there is a huge problem with it and I needed to get it fixed. I got this fixed a couple days ago and the problem was that my PC has gotten overheated over time and installed a "cooler"? I don't remember if that's what it was but now my computer is back to normal and now I'm playing ENB Skyrim and other PC games again just the way I did before.

So the point I'm trying to get to is, will these crashes return? At first I thought it might've had something to do with the overheating problem but then I saw this video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9WLTY9R_5Y%C2%A0andrealized that it's the memory that does this. "And you still can overload your memory even with this mod installed." - Gopher referring to ENboost. I don't get the point in using ENB if there's a time limit breathing down your neck as you play while waiting for it to begin crashing. Should I go ahead and take this off or do you guys think my computer can handle this? I just don't understand how the ENB mod effects my PC. This is all so confusing to me >_<

Also, I know I probably should've posted this somewhere else but I'm just hoping that there's some ENB experts in here.
