My current character is a Dunmer Warrior with the star sign Warrior. With the use of skill trainers and a lot of money raised by selling potions to the Scamp in Caldera I have managed to get him to level 72, which by my calculations is the highest this build of character can go without cheats and glitches.

Anyway my problem is when he's at this level he still has one major/minor skill left over that only has 5 points to train. If I'm at level 72 and I train this skill up 5 times obviously it won't advance a level, however when you hover over the word "Level" in the character menu you can see a pop up containing the words "Progress towards next level up" with a red progress bar in the background that is half full and has "5/10" on it.

I also have a savegame I made at level 71 just before resting to advance to level 72. So I'm wondering should I train this leftover skill a final 5 times before resting so that when I'm at level 72 the progress bar won't be half full or shall I train it at level 72 and have a half full progress bar? What would you do?

I know this seems like a ridiculous question but when I spend this long building a character my OCD really does become that bad
