Random facts about your character.

One thing I believe that makes a character more interesting are the small little details that compliment the backstory.

Which is why I made this thread, so we can share the facts of our characters. Be it the things they like/hate, the place they were born and what not. Perhaps even considerations that you made for your character outside of roleplay, such as the things that inspired you. We can all tell much about the backstory, but there's no harm in sharing the details.

Given that I'm currently rather inactive, I only use http://i.imgur.com/OvXhiXV.jpg, who's a bit...gloomy you can say. http://i.imgur.com/n2GMIvG.jpg Got plenty to tell about her so I might aswell make a list of it.

-Despite being a Necromancer, Hrafna is usually a rather honourable figure. In battle, she can be either merciful or ruthless dependent on how she views her enemies. She never raises soldiers or innocent people as undead, only those she deems as ''unworthy''.

-Hrafna comes from the Norse ''Hrafn'', which means ''Raven''. Ironically, Hrafna has a strong hatred for Hagravens.

-Hrafna is originally supposed to be left handed, which is one reason why I made her a dual wielder, to mask it. However, because the animations do have right handed tendencies, I decided to make her ambidextrous instead.

-Hrafna enjoys luxuries such as wine and furs.

-Although the game suggests that the Dragonborn is from another province, Hrafna is actually born in the wilds of Skyrim.

-I gave her silver toned/white http://i.imgur.com/hwrLl9K.jpg because I wanted her to appear undead in a more mystical matter. Infact, I considered making her a Revenant. But I decided it'd make more sense to have a character who's still living. I kept the mystical and mysterious appearance, however.

-Eventually, Hrafna's power in the dark arts will become strong enough to make her ageless, which is probably empowered by her Dragon blood. I've not gone far enough into the game and personal story to make this happen, however.

-Hrafna worships the Nordic Pantheon. Therefore, she refers Talos as Ysmir, Julianos as Jhunal and Kynareth as Kyne. She dislikes the Imperial Pantheon.

-Although Hrafna prefers her strength in arms over her magical abilities, she does defend her ''dark gift'' by stating that the enemy's body will be mutilated no matter what.

''Mages use destructive fire to burn their enemies. And warriors use their axe to cleave through their flesh. My blades leave little more but pools of blood. Can't throw all the blame at the dark arts, can you?''

I suppose there's more to her than this, but nothing that comes to my mind currently. Maybe I'll fill it up later.

Feel free to tell the little details about your own character, or to ask me and other people about theirs. That's what this thread is about.

So, here's some facts about my ''pure'' mage, http://static-3.nexusmods.com/15/images/110/2934143-1418944117.jpg.

  • Marcellus does not believe in honor, seeing this as the word for ''http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HonorBeforeReason''.
  • He's born in Cyrodiil.
  • He is not religious, seeing religion as indoctrinating shackles, to the point of outright saying that Talos is ''the Nords' skooma''.
  • He favors magic since even with the best maintenance gold can buy, weapons can and will break, although he does admit he's pretty good with casting spells around.
  • I felt like playing him as an albino character, which makes his porcelain skin and red eyes post-embrace only more fitting.
  • Scipio doesn't hold the Nords in high regard, as they shun the College of Winterhold. Moreso as he became it's Arch-Mage.
  • He enjoys being a vampire.
  • Why is he in Skyrim? An accident in the Synod's scholar establishments that killed some people (including some students and his parents) that a fellow mage caused. Marcellus got kicked, but after finding out it was a set-up, they wrote a recommendation letter to the CoW to let Marcellus in, no questions asked, no entry test, no mention of the accident.
  • http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AboveGoodAndEvil, seeing concepts like good and evil as ''childish''.
  • He outright thinks that mortal nature is all about the self: self-preservation at other's expenses, among others, is one of his opinions on them.
  • He's not a fan of alcoholic drinks, favoring keeping his mind clear. Post-embrace, however, he can make do with blood.
