PC generally is about £30 here, Pre ordered GTA V for 35, but Arkham Knight is only 25, never paid more than 35 before unless it's a collector's edition etc.

Both PC and console games cost about the same here unless you get them outside of brick and mortar stores, most likely. I ended up getting Stick of Truth for 60 dollars a few months after its release for some reason. This was the PC version I bought in a Wal-Mart. For less high profile releases, it depends on what the publisher decides. I'm in the US, but 60 dollars isn't our only price range for new games. Some games start at budget prices even if they are from a big franchise. Happened with Sly Cooper Thieves in Time.
I usually wait for the price to drop unless the game is something I don't wish to wait for. Since I don't get out of the house much, I also might just be willing to pay full price since I always feel so guilty when asking my dad to order things online for me. I don't have a paypal account or a credit card of my own, so that's why my dad orders the stuff for me. I don't have a credit card on purpose. I don't trust myself with them. I just pay him back. Both parties get something out of this.
Not sure why console game and PC game prices are so similar here. I do prefer physical discs, so there is some reason for me mentioning PC game prices being so similar. I tend to wait for sales so I can just pile up on games in most cases. I tend to do this with all platforms and sales are very useful for me as a result. I sometimes will walk into a used game store and spend over 100 dollars on used games. I'm quite a well liked customer just from a spending stand point, as you can see... I spent about 600 dollars in total when buying my Wii U because I wanted multiple games, two Pro controllers, and then a Charmander plushie was in my field of view. Don't get between me and Pokemon plushies.
...and sometimes also by city/county. Here in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, it's 7% sales tax.
But yeah, standard US prices - $60 for new games, console or PC.
