So I load up my favourite character after not playing for a month or two and a second after the loading screen everything darkens and then flushes red before returning to normal. I think, okay, maybe the light animation went wonky and continue on. About five minutes of playtime later, I hear a sort of exploding sound and my character suddenly stumbles down and dies. I thought at first it might be a trap by a chest I hadn't noticed, but it happened even when I walked in another direction. And when I took all her clothes and equipment off. Aaand when I disabled all the mods I had running. There's nothing in her active effects and when I tried loading up an older save I got the same dark tint to the screen and she dropped dead five minutes later. Even activating the 'god mode' console command doesn't work. All of my other characters' saves load up fine. I'm stumped. Is her save permanently corrupted?

Did you uninstall any mods inbetween playing this character?
