Hey guys,

It's been quite awhile since I've played Skyrim on PS3(eventually got tired of it, and no mods was a little boring after a while). I just bought a new Asus laptop for every day use, and was wondering if it'll be able to play Skyrim on some decent settings with a few mods.

Here are the specs:

-Windows 8.1

-Core i7-4510U 2.0 GHz dual core Processor w/ 3.1GHz Turbo, 4 Hyperthreads, 4MB Smart Cache

-8gb ram

-1TB SATA HDD

-17.3" HD+ (1600 x 900) display

-NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M w/ 2GB GDDR3 VRAM

I don't think the rest of the specs really matter...

Anyways thanks for your thoughts on this matter.

P.S. if there are any mods you think are must haves please let me know.

It looks to me like this laptop will run Skyrim very well with plenty of mods too.
