Quick Question on Loading Profiles with Wrye Bash

I want to use Wrye Bash to load my profiles and their corresponding mods. I can't figure out how exactly to do it easily or correctly? I tried reading up on it but can't seem to find the answer.

I have a VERY long game play on my main character with a LOT of mods. I want to save it. I'm not done with her yet.

Now I'm interested in making a new character, and put my main aside for a bit. I can start the new character, but all the tons of mods that are loaded on my main are loaded up. I don't want this. I want a fresh, unmodded game that I can put in different things just for this character.

If I hit Load List (I think that's the selection) it seems to toggle the entire list off and on. When it toggles it off, it turns off ALL the mods for my main profile. I don't want to have to go back and fix them every time I want to play with her (turning them back on, then fixing the ones that didn't get included in the turn-on toggle). Plus I'm afraid I'll miss turning something back on, and you know how that will blow your mods up. (Hey where's all the stuff I stored in my house?)

I just want to hit one character, play, then go to my other character, play. If there's something easy I need to do in between great and okay too. Could I get some recommendations please for the best way of doing this? Thanks.
