I have the spell, I have the helmet in inventory, and I have the grand soul gem filled but

the helmet won't highlight. Another example of something that wont fortify is my Crimson

boots. What am I missing?

you don't need the Spell, you need another piece of equipment with the enchantment on it and de-enchant that equipment, allowing you to enchant other pieces of armor with it

I'm sorry, that's what I meant. Its in my enchanting inventory but it wont highlight to enchant. thanks
