Hi All,

After turning on my PC, SKSE will not load when I start the game (using SKSE launcher). I get all the dependent mods' error messages. The game doesn't CTD, but the mods don't work. I quit to desktop, without saving, and start the game again. This time SKSE loads and I'm good to go. This issue will not repeat until I shut down the PC and try the game the next day. Why is SKSE not loading the first time?

Do you have Steam running before starting the SKSE launcher? I've made the mistake in the past of not having Steam running when launching SKSE and I had that same issues. Either set Steam to launch when Windows boots up or make sure to start Steam before running SKSE.

Is Steam running in the background before you launch SKSE? If it is not, trying to run SKSE will firstly launch Steam, and then it will fail to inject into Skyrim.
