Question on Houses That Reference External Cells

Post » Fri Jan 16, 2015 2:33 pm

In trying to learn advanced topics, I have noticed that sometimes when creators make a new house, they also create references that show up in Tamriel as an example. But in the Interiors cells I do not see how it is linked to the cells in Tamriel.

If I remove the mod, the references in Tamriel are no longer there. Tree Houses are a good example of where you can see this.

They add a tree and a exterior house to the land as a cell, and then of course add the Interior. If you try and remove the cells that are added to Tamriel by the mod, it will not allow it, I have added houses to land areas and then linked a door marker to go in and out with out doing that so what is the purpose and how do you add and or delete those exterior cell references. I know this is done so removing the mod will also put Tamriel back to the condition it was prior to adding the mod, but I do not see what or how the cells to change the areas in Tamriel are added by the mod.

I hope this is not confusing anyone.

Thanks

My guess is they aren't adding exterior cells. They are simply placing the objects in an existing exterior cell, for which you can enter the interiors from.

When the mod is removed, the references in that cell is removed.
