Hello everyone,

In the beginning of 2013 I got skyrim on my ps3 (Black Slim). I was happy with the game, enjoying it very much and I intended to get my first platinum trophy, but as I was forwarding in the game, it begun getting slower until a complete freeze. As a result, I stopped and couldn't continue. I was frustrated and I started searching for a solution, I found out that the ps3 version is broken so I stopped. Now, a few months ago I noticed that two of my friends on ps3 were playing the game for a long time and I asked one of them how is the game with you? He said it's ok but there are some lags though I can continue playing. He has a fat ps3 while I have slim.

I have tried to delete the update and install it again but didn't work.

After searching, I can put skyrim ps3 players into these categories:

1- Players have played skyrim normally (like 360) and they have't encountered too much problems.

2- Players encountered few problems but they have played and finish the game.

3- Players found the game unplayable (like myself).

Why that happened ? What is the reason ?

Is it the hard drive ?

or the skyrim save file ?

or is it only that the old fat ps3 can run skyrim normally while slim can not ?

or is it that the legendary edition better than normal edition ?

Please tell me your thoughts on this.

play time: 246.07.33

please correct me if I'm wrong. Does it say that I completed 246 hours !?? I can't believe that I reached that amount of time to be honest with you .

I found some skyrim ps3 walkthroughs on youtube in which we notice that they play normally. Unfortunately I am not allowed to post links.

Now guys what can I do to make the game running normally in order just to get the platinum trophy (DLCs are not mandatory for platinum)..

Should I change the hard drive ?

or delete the save file and start the game again ?

or is the legendary edition more better ?

or could it be that only fat ps3 can run skyrim normally ?
