good day all, I'm fairly new to this forums. if this thread is in the wrong section would you be kind and advice me where to put it.

the case is this: in middle of my game I used save cleaner program (not out of necessity) to reduce or perhaps to clean irrelevant data in the save files.

what that did is: it reduced save files (from 13MB to 5MB) which is not the case. the SKSE save file is missing. afterwards, loading saves generated an in-game message describing that the save is corrupt and cannot be loaded. not only that. saving my game took longer than usual and produced the effect above.

Skyrim is working fine previous to the action above (save cleaning), saving takes longer time, save files are smaller and without SKSE save files.

I'm not trying to recover lost data, for I (thankfully) have save files prior to that action which enables me to previous load saves which are not corrupted. the problem is that i cannot save anymore. i can play the game soundly but save files gets corrupted afterwards.

I kindly need help with this dilemma, as after long hours of tweaking I got Skyrim working with slim to no CTD. the way I wanted.
