Hello everyone!

So I reinstalled Oblivion today, and when I got ingame everything was accelerated! I mean like all the animations were sped up, NPCs were shooting around town and I myself was speeding around the place. Even the zoom when starting and exiting conversation with an NPC was sped up... WTF?! Oh yeah and when I am out in the forest and the FPS drops it goes all slo-mo... literally slow motion. But anyway does anyone have a solution to this, because I've looked it up and there's nothing about this anywhere on the internet. Any help will be appreciated.

Try deleting the ini file in Users, Name, Docs, My games, Oblivion and let the game create a new one.

Have you used any mods on a previous install that weren't uninstalled properly? There is one mod I know of, Oblivion Stutter Remover, that does change the overall speed of the game in response to FPS, just like what you're describing, but it's usually more subtle. Maybe the settings were changed wrong or you haven't removed all the files left over from it.

I did have the Stutter Remover and I probably didn't uninstall it properly. I'll mess around with it in the morning, because I am really tired now. Thanks for the responses anyway! I'll give some feedback tomorrow.

Oh yeah and I don't believe I got rid of the ini files either lol
