Last August, Tomlong announced that she was no longer going to support TESCOSI, her site for Oblivion modding information and guides. The site is now gone. Before it was taken down, we were able to get a backup of the material.

Would the community like to see this site restored as a wiki on The Assimilation Lab? We have several wikis, including The Quest Lists (TOQL - The Obliviion Quest List, The Morrowind Quest List and The Skyrim Quest List) and the Morrowind Modding Wiki. TESCOSI would have its own wiki and anyone would be able to register an account to update it.

It's sad to realize that the original TESCOSI site become defunct and she did a damn good job with it too. I do hope that she'll return some day in the future.

I don't have any objection about restoring TESCOSI as a separate wiki page on TAL.

If you are going to restore the TESCOSI, will you assimilate the texture guide that was created a while ago? IIRC it was created by Dubiousness and few others I believe and some of the information provided by that guide is very useful as well.

Edit: Or if you prefer, put a link to it so the mod users can use it as a cross-reference?

I for one would be happy to see it added. I found that site..and many others which no longer exist...to be quite useful.
