Redguard paladin?

Hello,

I need your help with a little lore related question: Do Redguard paladins make any sense?

Thing is I want to play a paladin class type, a 1H warrior who uses restoration and heavy or light armor (haven't decided yet) and is a follower of Stendarr but I also wanna play a dual wielding scimitar Al'Akir gladiator / mercenary / bounty hunter type and I was thinking of combining these two classes if they are compatible.

The race that fits the best is the Redguard, but do the Redguard have paladins/knights/Templars ? I know the perfect race for this would be an Imperial but if I choose Imperial it would be my third white human male char and it gets boring.

Can I combine these 2 classes? Paladin with Mercenary/BH/Gladiator?

Thanks

Yes, there are Redguard paladins. There is a knightly order that protects the city of Sentinel in Hammerfell for example. They were called Knights of the Moon, then replaced by the Knights of the Candle.
