So while I was questing, I seem to have lost Lydia. I'm playing on PC and I've tried going to Dragonreach to find her, and going to the Halls of the Dead, I even bought a house to see if she appeared there. After not being able to find her using those methods, I tried typing "player.moveto 000a2c94" in order to be teleported to her location. It took me to the Throat of the World however, she isn't there. I looked around using my cursor to see if she was invisible or something but I still couldn't find her. Is there anyway to get her back as she had a lot of random gear on her. No, I'm not prepared to reload a save from before she vanished.

Try to make she appear through console commands.

Well I looked online and it says to type in "Prid 000a2c94", however this doesn't work. It makes it so her reference code appears (000a2c94) in the console command menu, but she doesn't actually appear. I tried Resurrecting incase she was dead but her body wasn't showing but that didn't work either.

You type "Prid 000a2c94" then "moveto player".

Doesn't work, when I do that it's the same as if I tried to move to her, she's just not there.

Then try in this order: "prid 000a2c94", "resurrect", "moveto player", "enable".

But, if she is dead, as I assume above, then it's possible her body has already been cleaned up. This could mean you won't be able to get her back.


Furthermore, in the future, if you don't want her to die and are adverse to using mods that prevent it, you might try setting her to essential by using "setEssential 000a2c8e 1".
