Bought New Vegas used a while ago and played it casually over a couple months and finally beat it the other day. I decided to go to game stop and buy the Ultimate edition for the DLC content.

Heres where my problem starts.

insert disc 2. run install. finish install. insert disc 1. play saved game....no DLC... go to my hard drive. DLC content loaded into the harddrive.

Go on internet. Delete all DLC and Title updates and caches.

Insert disc 2. run install, finish install, insert disc 1. Title update. Play saved game... NO DLC....

Delete downloaded NV on my harddrive....nope

Reload NV to harddrive....nope

What am i doing wrong?

Also been on hold with Zenimax for 45 minutes...i think one person is working the phones.

Help?

Hmm. That's odd. I'm on PS3 and that differs only by being one disc. I just popped it in and everything gets installed in one loading process. I also wasn't trying to load a save from a "stock" NV so that may be it.

Doe's anyone know if the Ultimate edition and original vanilla don't mix well on consoles? Would their save files not be compatible with each other?
