I started up oblivion to play it once more after about 1 year on a retail disc purchase (version 1.0) and i saw that the grass texture has been changed. After looking at it i realized that the texture is of Chorrol on the map. I want to keep my save data and not uninstall the game. If i have to uninstall and the game, is there any way i can keep my save data? only mod i have installed is qarl's texture pack. i have tried deactivating the mod and even with normal textures it is still there. You can uninstall the game and keep your saves - the save files are located in your My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves folder. Normally this folder does not get deleted when you uninstall Oblivion, but just to be safe make a backup copy of it someplace else, and then copy the files back to the saves folder when you re-install.
