Oh my stars and garters, what was it like to play this 9 years ago? Must have been mind blowing! I'm barely 4 hours in and am loving it, the main theme (score), the bright colors, the THUNDERSTORMS! Seriously I don't know what I was missing just playing NWN and NWN2. I still love Skyrim, but Oblivion is just "Wow" in its own way... Back to it!

I was totally amazed by this game when I started to play back in Feb 2007. I wasn′t used to the sandbox element and coming from Doom 3 I couldn′t believe that is was in fact possible to sneak past enemies! I didn′t have to defend myself against anything in existence! That was enough to blow me away, I can tell you that I was also amazed by the fact I never ever again had to be on the lookout for medkits because I had a magic spell that could heal me! Oh heavens, how I adored that discovery

Another thing that caught me off guard was all the stuff I could pick up and use that wasn′t a weapon! Like the alchemical apparatus and food/drink. The random clutter was also something I liked; stuff that were there that wasn′t worth anything and couldn′t be used but made the whole world feel so much more alive and real.

The music was amazing too. So calm and nice and oh my god I just had a flashback to how it was playing this game for the first time just now

The only thing that ruined my experince was my crap heap of a computer. Well, I was so amazed by the game that it wasn′t really ruined. I just couldn′t crank up the settings top max
