I'm new to posting on forums so please don't send me rude messages or anything. I've been playing Skyrim for quite sometime now on PS3. Recently my boyfriend started a new account. Level 61 high elf. When we opened his skill tree after a couple days with no playing, all of the labels under the skills had weird symbols. Does this mean corruption? I've tried trouble shooting everything but I haven't been able to find anything. Help please!

It might mean corruption with the game save. Do your use auto saves?

Have you tried going to an earlier game save and see if it happens there.

Usually it's about a 50/50 with manual saving and auto saving. He tried going onto another save and the symbols are now appearing everywhere else. So definitely corruption? :/

Symbols, you say? Probably the work of Riley Martin and the Biaviians.

Is it in a foreign language if so you might have changed the game into another language.

Is this on a PC if so it might be a mod that is changing the text into a foreign language.

Whoa, I've never seen something like that. Mind posting pictures of the "symbols" it could help us out.
Also, most of the people here are really friendly, I wouldn't worry about any rude messages... Just don't post in any civil-war/ulfric debate threads and you should be fine.
