(Probably a noobish question, which is shameful as I've been playing Skyrim for years...)

How does the Aetherial Crown actually work? My idea is there's a Stone - call it Stone X - which I want active all the time, plus another Stone - Stone Y - which has effects that would be beneficial in some instances ... so, if I've understood this correctly, I can somehow 'store' Stone Y in the crown and just put it on when desired. First of all, is that right?

Secondly, how do I actually achieve this? I think I activate Stone Y whilst wearing the crown, then activate Stone X and that pushes Stone Y into the crown. I can then remove and replace the crown whenever Stone Y's effects are needed. Is that right?
