This series centers around the lawyer Saul Goodman (http://www.tv.com/people/bob-odenkirk/). It's basically a prequel to the events of Breaking Bad that will let us delve into the shady background of this tragicomedic character.

Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) is back in his "professional fixer" role played in Breaking Bad. Currently it's not known whether Walter White and Jesse Pinkman will have appearances in Better Call Saul, also it's unsure if the new show's timeline will go beyond the ending of Breaking Bad, when Saul Goodman was about to start a new life.
Since many of us haven't watched the pilot yet (airs Feb 9 on AMC) please try to use spoilers tags whenever you consider necessary at least for the time being but please do share your thoughts about this new beginning, especially how it feels as a BB spinoff, does it capture the same atmosphere, writing and production value?
