I know this doesn't belong here but The Evil Within forms are pretty dead and I'm looking for a solution to a problem.

If anyone had played The Evil Within I'm hoping you can help me. On the 11th chapter I have to jump in water and swim past a gate that raises every 10 seconds or so to escape a monster. The problem I am having is that it wont let me swim through the gate when it opens, there's an invisible wall blocking me.

Is this a known bug? Is there anyway to fix it hopefully without having to restart the chapter?
