» Tue Feb 10, 2015 7:38 am Well over the weekend I was trying to figure out why I was having some CTD issues and in the process I corrupted some files and had to delete everything and do a fresh install.
So I was sitting there thinking about what kind of PC I wanted to start out with. I decided I was going to try a type I had not done before. I was going to go with a hand to hand combat mage. Naturally I went with Khajiit because of the unarmed bonuses. They do 22 damage per punch right from the start. I power leveled smithing, alchemy, and enchanting. I am also using heavy armor. I went to the ratways in Riften and killed Gian and took his "Gloves of the Pugilist". I disenchanted those. I used the alchemy-enchanting loop to max out a 45% fortify enchant potions. I also used perks in heavy armor to get the fists of steel perk. As many of you know this perk improves your unarmed attack by the base armor rating of the heavy gauntlets you are using. The gauntlets with the highest base armor rating are Daedric with 18. Now I enchant the Daedric gauntlets with unarmed attack bonus enchantment as well as a ring with that enchantment. Each one gives me a plus 19 unarmed attack bonus. My unarmed attacks are now doing 78 damage per hit. The Khajiit's base damage of 22 + Daedric gauntlets 18 + enchanted apparel bonus 38 = 78. I paid for training in one-handed to get the dual flurry perks. This makes your unarmed attacks even faster. To add even more to it, I equip the amulet of Talos and got a Talos blessing to reduce my time between shouts by 40%. I use the elemental fury shout to deliver lighting quick blows and/or slow time shout.
I also use some magic mixed in.
I can literally punch a legendary dragon to death. I have been having a blast with this setup. I thought I would post this to give some others different ideas on PC builds.
