i have played with quite a few alternate start mods though they are all good in some way but i haven't found any mod that completely stops alduin second coming menace i'm looking for a mod that puts me before 17 of last seed, no alduin, no helgen destroyed, no dragons. is there a mod like that ? or am i asking too much ? alternate start mods i know

LAL - most popular but definitely not for non-dragonborn playthroughs i just couldn't play as non- dragonborn with it quest always reminded me to inquire about helgen rumor and you pretty much have to avoid going anywhere near helgen.

nondragonbornwithdragons - sent to me by ladyonthemoon takes care of main quest and dragonborn thing but there are dragons, lengthy helgen ride and helgen destruction.

Skyrim Unbound - pretty much takes care of everything except helgen is still in destroyed state and there are mentioning of dragons even if you have turned off dragons and spawns in MCM menu.

there are others as well very similar to these mods. so is there truly a mod that places you before alduin second coming event ?? surely it is possible helgen is there in restored state during intro so it can't be impossible for something like this or is it really impossible to make a mod like this? i haven't played oblivion on PC but i have heard about a mod that stopped oblivion gates from opening in cyrodil.

I might try to expand nondragonbornwithdragons to something like what you're looking for, but it'll take weeks... and there would be no need to change the date, just change the events.

i have infact i mainly played with your mod whenever i wanted to play non dragonborn characters which i think handles that part superbly while keeping the feel of original game.

by date i meant before alduin menace coz it is when alduin returns to tamriel. take all the time im not going anywhere but a mod like this will greatly increase role playing aspects.
