Okay, who here has had modders burnout? How long did it last and what if anything did you do to get over it?

Fought this many times during my various project's developments. For me I take a couple of days and completely ignore the existence of the mod. 100% take a break. Then I come back to it, rethink things that may have led to the burnout and attempt to continue. I've always been able to get myself back on track, but this does happened repeatedly when I overwork.

I treat modding the same way I treat gaming: when I feel burned out I take breaks. Life is too short to treat either modding or gaming as a job.

Yes, I am right now, after spending several months modding several hours per day. The best thing to do is nothing, just wait until it wears off. ;)

What if it don't wear off? What if the reason you burned out is because Nifskope don't let you edit the files as plain text so you can make the many quick changes needed to find a bug.
