FWE + MMM and Blackened

Post » Wed Mar 11, 2015 7:53 am

Probably a stupid question but I have to ask, since I'm behind the times on modding games like Oblivion and/or FO3.

I have FWE installed, but now I want MMM so the world stops being empty.

Do I still need to download MMM or is this covered by blackened?

Edit: Nevermind, it's been explainined by the readme.

You might not need some of the plugins from MMM since FWE already has them. I do not know which one(s) since I do not use MMM.

Watch this video before trying to get these two mods to work together

The video CCNA linked is outdated. If you want to use MMM with FWE and the Blackened patch, you will have to use the Paradox Ignition version of MMM http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/16787/? The merged MMM is the only one that will work with the Blackened patch.

OK. how about "merge patch" how I do that? I've read you just merge EVERYTHING into one but that sounds really really wrong.

Also do I HAVE to activate all those DLCs? Alot of the descriptions seem to require that these ALL activated. Things never turn out ok when you activate everything in a new game from the start.

So I gotta ask these things.

For MMM you just need to install the original version of MMM. Read information on which plugins to keep for MMM at the link M48A5 posted. Since most of those plugins have been merged into one for you. Download from the link that M48A5 posted. Some mods might still need some optional plugins.

Do you have all the DLC's Most of the mods listed in that link do need all the DLC's or at least some of them. That is why they are candidates for the Merge since that can free up quite a few plugins.
