Did Fallout New Vegas: Honest Hearts screw me over?

Post » Wed Mar 11, 2015 6:24 am

Look i now Fallout NV is pretty old wnd irrelevant, but i (metaphorically) dusted her off and started where i left off. The battle of hoover dam was approaching... I figured "what the heck! Lets do Honest Hearts!"(already did Dead Money and Old World Blues) After many freezes, glictches where White Legs didnt attack me, etc. Me and Follows Chalk managed to move! A foot! Then it froze again So i thought "[censored] it! Ill deal with you later",saved and went to bed. Come home, New Vegas doesnt load. Says error 80010017 or something (i can get the exact no. If asked) so i figurrd id delete my save inside Honest Hearts. No dice. Delete game data? All futile. In the meantime ive been maxing my FO3 characters, byt i honestly love FNV and would rather play it. Any (and i mean ANY) help is VERY apprectiated! Like im at a brick wall so even thr smallest idea would help. Besides wiping all saves. Unless thats 100% proven cuz i have like 4 years of data here

Edit: Yes the error code is 80010017

Yes, the exact number will help as that will tell you the source of your problem. From there you can probably google "Fallout New Vegas error xxxxxxxxx" where x is the error number you are given, and find out what happened.

Sounds like a PS3 problem. From what I've been able to find I'm seeing answers ranging from a dirty disc, a bad blu-ray player, to a hacked cd key. If no one can answer your question here and if you have a legit copy I'd ask your question on a Play Station tech forum. If you have a hacked copy ... your on your own.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Do you have issues with other games. If so than it is likely something with your PS3. I do not have a PS3 but there might be something you can do to resolve the issue. If it is only this one game than it might be something with the Disk.
