Hello, Every time that I try to talk to Serena she just says "What is it?" or "yes" and I have no dialogue options. I have played for a long tome after I first encountered the glitch so reverting a save is not an option, I have tried fus ro da'ing her and nothing I have tried has worked. I sided with the dawn guard so she is there just walking around and sitting. If there is no fix to that then I would like to know how to become a vampire without her or her father, the one with vampire lord. Or if I drink from the red water den will I get the same vampirism? Thanks for the help.

I can't even talk to her, she just says "yes" or "what is it?" when I press Y on her, She is not my current follower, I couldn't get her to follow me a while ago and didn't really need her for anything so now Cicero follows me, but now I want to become an vampire lord. I read your link but I have done all of the dawn guard quests (except for some tracking down vampires) so the only option I have is serana it seems, so I need to get her to speak to me.

So, you may try to contract the disease "Sanguinare Vampiris" then.
