Ok I got all the way to the end and killed the Dragur Guardian, but he didnt have the helm of Winterhold that I am looking for. There is a locked chest in the room, but it requires a key, and when I activate it, it says it is sealed with some kind of magic. Any help on this? I'm lost.

You _did_ get the coral claw from the merchant in Winterhold, right? (Wouldn't have been able to get The End without it.)

I never got the dungeon delving quest. It just popped up in miscellaneous.

There's a second copy of the claw that appears in Yngol's Barrow if you didn't get one from Birna, intended for the Helm of Winterhold quest.

The chest should be unlocked when Yngol's shade dies. If you killed a "Draugr Guardian" instead, then it's possible it won't open, because it's linked to killing the wrong NPC. A lot will depend on whether the game started Birna's quest, which may happen if you talk to her about the claw, but don't take it.

The scripts were written with the expectation that you'd be doing one of the quests at a time, and they get confused if both are running. The better-known case is the Helm quest preventing Yngol from spawning, but you seem to have the opposite with the chest staying locked.
