Favourite wedding guests?

What are the wedding guests you've been most excited to see turn up at your ceremony? I always get married too soon, and as such haven't completed enough quests to have enough guests show up to my weddings. Personally, having Mjoll and Kharjo show up for several of mine was a nice touch.

Also, have anyone ever had Serana and/or her mother show up to theirs? Been very curious about it, but hasn't happened on any of my saves where I've waited until the end of the Dawnguard MQ to get married.

Wow, that works that way? The only time I got married was just to try it out, and at that time I was heavily into "avoiding towns and other people" kind of character, so I haven't had any quests done at that moment. Sounds pretty cool, I wonder what's the cap, as in, how many people can there be at most.

And with Serana's speech about how she hates temples I'm pretty sure she wouldn't turn up there. :P

Hah, I suppose Serana might not ever show up, then--though her aversion doesn't seem to prevent you taking her into a temple as a follower. I do intend to recruit her as a follower before asking Aela to marry me, when I'm ready to be bothered doing that, to see if I can just force her to show up.

As for other guests, yeah, that's how it works. I've had Commander Varo, Brill and/or Vignar, Lydia, maybe Uthgerd, and maybe Farkas or Vilkas show up on different saves. I wonder if there's a cap; it's neat to have all those NPCs show up, I think.

Yeah, feels like you're making connections. :P I'll try it out, for the kicks, when I'll be able to play Skyrim again. I'll do every quest possible and then get married. I'll be angry if Emperor himself... oh wait. :P

On separate occasions, I remember having Tullius, Hadvar, and Jarl Baalgruff attend my wedding.

I once had an Orc only wedding. I've heard of someone having Sheogorath at his wedding :D that would be awesome if that were true.

Characters with unique voices and reserved actors cannot show up for the ceremony.

Really? I swear i saw General Tullius at my wedding once. That wedding also had that priest of Arkay from Whiterun and that cannibal Eola too (needless to say, I was shocked).

Tullius seems to go to several of my characters weddings, mind you this is a separate marriage-able Tullius. Other than that a lot of my own characters that I shoved into the game always show up. It's pretty nice. :)

Not unique characters, but those with unique voices. Eola, for example, doesn't have a voice actor that gives her voice to her and no one else. It's because unique voiced NPCs have only voices for their roles in the games, and almost nothing else.

I do like seeing the Orcs there because they look so out of place.

ha I thought it was hilarious that the thug just sat there calmly sipping his drink until it was time to take the vows :)

I have had that happen to me. They weren't there already though, we'd started our vows when the thugs burst in and started slaughtering.
