I have 2 game files and 2 patches (1.9 & 2.09) !

I bought a new skyrim disc put it on and started downloading 1.9 update file. That was strange to me because I didn't delete the 2.09 update file and my last save.

When the game started I couldn't load the last save file and I started new game. Nothing new since my last playing in 2013, it runs but laggy and little bit slow and I think it could freeze at any point.

In (Game data utility) I have 4 skyrim files (2 game files and 2 update files) I don't think this is normal thing.

This my previous topic about my skyrim discussion:

I thing the European patch is 2.09, otherwise it's 1.09

Do you have two Skyrim games, from different countries, inside and outside Europe ???

You should have one game file, and update it online, with your appropriate game disc.

Either way, delete your two game data files, your DLC's if you have them, and install the game again, from the latest Skyrim disk you have in your possession.

----------------

If you have the Legendary Skyrim disc, all files (main game + DLC's + patch) are included in that disk.

If you own the Black Skyrim Box, install the game through that disk, download the appropriate DLC's over the net (and accordingly to your Product ID disk), and the patch over the net as well.

You can see some product ID Skyrim disks: http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps3/615804-the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/data%C2%A0

The link i posted, is not what i wanted to show you. So, i copied the content in a picture. -> http://i.imgur.com/Lp1IMw3.png

Hope it helps. !!!

In your disk package perhaps ??? It should be one...

---------------

Also i want to notice. Make sure the region on your Skyrim copy and the DLCs, as your PSN account, are from the same region. !!!

So, if you disk is American, make an American account, and download then your DLC's through the store.

I don't thing that's your problem, i only mention it.

----------------

Either way, make a clean install from your American Skyrim disk, and normally you shouldn't have 2 game files anymore.

Can explain "clean install" more ?

Just delete your Skyrim game from your PS3, and then install it again from your BLUS-30778 disk. Let it update through the Skyrim servers (online), and that's it.

Easy as that...
