I've downloaded the Season Pass and the game checked it for new content, but I haven't been promoted to download the DLC and there's nothing new on the main menu.

I suspect I have to start a new game and then I'll be asked to download the DLC. Is that right?

I just wanted to check with the community on whether this is right or whether something's not working for me, since I don't want to override my current autosave file (I'm part way through a chapter on Akumu Mode, so I'd rather get to the next mirror hub or whatever it's called and manually save, rather than lose some of my progress).

Are you on Xbox 360? If so, I suspect you're running into some of the Xbox Live issues others are currently experiencing today.

Yes, I'm on Xbox 360. I've just checked right now and I'm still not being promoted to download or select the new DLC.

The Xbox Live status page still says there are issues with "Purchase and Content Usage", so I'll see if the issue is fixed once Live is fully operational again.
