Is there a substantive argument against a Fallout 1 and 2 port to the next-gen consoles?

I know Bethesda is most likely ambivalent to a port or flagrantly couldn't care less, but when a port is discussed on these forums it's usually with adversity.

Would people like a fo1 and fo2 port in light of the wasteland 2 port?

I would dig it. Tired of my games crashing/saves being corrupted for F1 and 2 on PC.
