I boosted up my xbox 360 , cleaned it etc. and started to play Skyrim. It was really glitchy (it was never glitchy before , for example I got a couple of times the 'lookup failed!; and alvor didnt talk to me) but I've made it to the dragon rising quest. I hand over the dragonstone , irrileth walks in and starts talking about dragons. Thats where the magic happens. They sometimes wait with walking until I walk upstairs. Then irrileth runs against walls to the stairs untill I talk to her (then she just resumes her normal walk) and the Jarl says 'So you saw a dragon?' or something like that. a couple of seconds later a gaurd comes running in (who was supposed to be there I qeuss?). Then everyone is standing still telling me they're busy and nothing happens. Really nothing. I tried waiting a day before handing in the stone and after they were standing there. I tried to make them all talk. Tried to go out of the castle and back into the castle. I tried multiple save files etc etc. Nothing worked.. Anyone else that got the problem? Sorry if I described it somewhat vague.

Sometimes Irileth will not run into Dragonsreach with info on the dragon sighting, preventing the quest from starting. This only seems to happen when talking to Farengar about the Dragonstone BEFORE obtaining it.

Obtaining the Dragonstone before the first visit to Dragonsreach prevents this problem, as all the essential NPCs are already inside Dragonsreach.

No the quest does start , however when the jarl needs to interrogate the gaurd , the gaurd isnt there. The jarl says 'So , you saw a dragon?' and 10 seconds later he comes running up. Then everyone stands still without any dialogue , telling me they're busy.
