I see there is Lichdom:Battlemage game. I am thinking of getting it, but before I buy a game now I do my research on it. So far from what I am reading it's a mixed reaction. Some like it, some don't. Some love it, some hate it.

So as usual it comes down to the great Beth Forums. To me it's like what the magic system should be in the TES series. From watching the Youtube videos I get a sense of Elder Scrolls in there. I know it's a FPS game but with magic instead of guns. I can't remember if there is multiplayer or not. I will be getting it for the single player experience.

So have you played it? Do you like it? Why or why not? How buggy is it? Is it fun? Only thing I see that I hate is it has save points, not a save anywhere anytime you want. So how is this system?

I see it on sale on GoG so wondering if I should pick it up now.

The game is a mix of kill lots of enemies and kill lots more enemies then move into the next area and kill even more enemies with lots of particle effects and running backwards shooting magic effects.

When I saw the thread title I immediately thought of Acererak, baddest lich ever.

I really do need to turn in my nerd license...I'm way too much into this stuff.
