I've just started a game in Skyrim and I am stuck in the room where you have the option to search through barrels. There is a fireplace in one corner and a hanging rabbit and pheasant. I am stuck between a wood pile and the hanging rabbit and pheasant. I have tried moving and jumping for about 10 minutes. I can't save during this quest and therefore can't load another save.

Can anybody give me some advice or help on how to get out of this spot? Or will I have to restart from a new game?

If You are on a PC, open the console and type tcl and then press enter. I do not know how a PS3 or X-Box User can get unstuck.

I am playing on a PS3. So if I can't get unstuck then that means I would have to restart, right?

The Game should make a Save when a character talks to Hadvar, hopefully You use it to avoid the carriage ride again.
