For me as of a moment ago, 3509 hours. I think that will be a hard number to top, but with millions of players, it wouldn't be surprising if several people can claim more than that.

Subordinate to the main question: Is Skyrim you most-played game of all time? For me, that's a BIG "yes!". My closest contender is Fallout New Vegas at 1607 hours. (The joy of taking early retirement!)

Steam thinks I have played for 32 minutes. I have no way of knowing for sure. But I guess the real answer would be closer to 2000 hours.

My most-played game is Morrowind. Over 6000 hours by now.

I didn't get skyrim on PC until about a year and 3 months ago. I never had the money to buy a PC that could run it. But since then I've racked up 593 hours. I probably played it at least that much on XBOX 360 before it got it on PC.

Many people play the game in offline mode and Steam does not track that.

I have no idea how many hours I have played and Skyrim is not the game I played the most. I do not think it is even in the top 10. I believe I have over 1000 hours. I believe the game that has the most is Diablo II, But the Original Pirates Gold back in 1987 might be the highest. I believe I have over 10k hours in Diablo 2.

2509 hours. Granted, I'm pretty sure that's including loading screens, and I'm pretty sure I've played in offline mode before (when Steam was having connectivity issues), so the actual number may be a bit higher or lower than that.

Nope. My most-played game is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Elder_Scrolls_II:_Daggerfall for sure. Second is probably http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frontier:_Elite_II and I would guess http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunship_2000 is third. After that it gets more fuzzy

Well I did say "I think", and I did acknowledge that it wouldn't be surprising if there were several others with higher totals. As for offline time, for me that probably amounts to less than a couple hundred hours total over the last 3+ years. (Mostly either Steam or ISP problems.) And since someone mentioned Pirates!, collectively for the series that could amount to a substantial amount. I wore out three copies of the original game, and then went on to excessively play every version since. I still play the 2004 version about every six months or so.

I'm not sure how long I've been playing either. But I think I'm up to about 800 to 900 hours at this point.

I've clocked in 852 hours on PC alone, but if we include the time I spent playing it on console, I'd say I'm pretty close to 1000 hours, if not more.
And if we'd include the time I spent deciding how to mod the game and to actually mod it, it might be a much higher count. But that'd be cheating.

Around 1000 hours with 5 full play throughs with 5 different characters. 2 x pure mage, 2 x battlemage and 1 x pure Orc warrior.

Steam says I have 4,589 hours as of right now. Most played? Maybe... but I wouldn't be surprised if I had more in Morrowind. I did an awful lot of modding in Morrowind, and beta testing for other modders as well... Actually, I enjoyed modding Morrowind as much or more than I enjoyed playing it, eh?

After 3 years of forum discussions, I would surmise that there hasn't been a new thread that has NEVER been discussed before (or pretty close to it). Should be all stop posting and just browse the Archives?

If people want to pvssyr over an old topic, why shouldn't they be allowed to? The solution to being annoyed by a repeat thread is simple: ignore it.

I would say my most played game is probably Aces High. No way to track it though. Been playing it since about 2005 pretty regular.

600 hours. It is not my most played game, that title belongs to Halo 3.

According to Steam 3159 hours.

The real figure? I've no idea. I sometimes play offline, I sometimes leave the game on pause whilst I do other things for a few hours.

Probably around 1100 hours, though my kid has recently started playing as well, so the number will be split from now on. I'd imagine it's the game I've played most, yes.

I'm on Xbox so I can't tell, deleting saves and all. I'd say with confidence that it's easily over 2000 hours.
