Heavily Modded Game Crashing

Help! My game is crashing in the exact same spots every 3 minutes or so. I can barely play more than 5 minutes before another crash occurs somewhere else.

I'm crashing on the turn to the door to Imperial City Better Cities version, right in front of Corinthe in Eslweyr Anequina, on the road to Duncori Walk, right in front of Aleswell, approaching the main road on the Niben from the farmland in Bravil Barrowfields UL mod. The crashing got worse after installing the Jungle Overhaul and then uninstalling it.
Much help would be appreciated. Thanks.

First, if you want specific advice, you need to post your load order.

This type of crash could be the result of a mod conflict or an out of memory error. Here is some general advice.

If its a mod conflict, you will need to use a process of elimination to isolate the problem mod and then either uninstall it or figure out what the conflict is and how to resolve it. Deactivate half your mods and see if the problem persists. Keep cutting your load order in half until you isolate the mod that is causing the problem.

Are you using the 4GB patch? My heavily modded game will crash without fail at certain points unless I have applied the 4GB patch correctly. I also cap FPS at 30 in OSR to keep memory from being used up too quickly. With an uncapped FPS, my heavily modded game crashes every hour or two at certain points when the game starts loading new cells, even with the 4GB patch. With FPS capped at 30, I can play for hours without crashing, but I usually reboot every couple of hours to keep everything fresh.

Finally, did you use "http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes4Mod:Clean_Save" procedures when you uninstalled the jungle mod? If not, your save could be messed up, in which case you may need to go back to an earlier save or start a new game.

That's an awefully long load order not to be using Wrye Bash for its bashed patch. There are a lot of mods I don't use, so I can only offer limited advice, but I would consider installing Wrye Bash and generating a bashed patch with a load order that long.

Also, how are you sorting the load order? I'd recommend using the latest version of BOSS, if you haven't already.

I also noticed you are using Better Cities, but your version is pretty outdated (current version is 5.5.3a), as well as something called "Open Cities Resources.esm [Version 4.1.5]". That does not sound like a Better Cities file, is it from Open Cities Reborn? I'd recommend trimming the load order down a bit, since it is really long, and just sticking with one mod that makes cities better. Better Cities has an open cities option so you don't need both of those. You have also got crowded cities and crowded roads. These types of mods are very hard on the system, especially when used in conjunction with each other. At some point, you are going to exceed the available memory, even with the 4GB patch.

You also have a bunch of esp files from a mod that is not allowed to be discussed here, but from your opening post, it sounded like you were trying to play Oblivion, not Morrowind, so I am confused why those files are even in your load order. I would get rid of them.

I would also get rid of streamline. It was causing similar crashes in my game. Streamline is designed for low end computers, and I am assuming you have a decent rig. If not, then you should probably not be attempting to run heavily modded Oblivion in the first place. Lower end machines should stick with lightly modded or at most moderately modded. In any event, I had similar crashes that were occurring in specific places and I traced them directly back to streamline. When I removed Streamline, the crashes stopped. So, I no longer use streamline.
