All characters in my game are having this problem. When I stand close to them, they have hair. As I back up, their hair disappears until they're bald.

I don't understand what happened. My game was working perfectly. Then I restarted my computer and restarted Skyrim, and this glitch occurred. I loaded old saves and the glitch is occurring there, too.

The only different thing I can think of is that I switched Steam to online mode after restarting my computer.

Did SKyrim update itself? Was Skyrim fully updated when you went into offline mode?

Are you using mods?

Man, i don't know. It could be a glitch.

Are you a (Nord) vampire and tried to wear some hoods, and then that happens. ???

If you have Dawnguard installed and are a Vampire Lord, try curing yourself and see how it goes.

You could also try a System Restore to a previous state.

Go to Control Panel -> <Category large icons> System -> System Protection -> Click the System Restore button.

Click on, <Choose a different restore point>

Temporarily, disable your Antivirus program first, to prevent it from possibly preventing you from doing a system restore. !!!
