Things in Skyrim that made you change your mind in game?

So does anyone have anything from Skyrim that made them change their minds about something in the middle of a playthrough? For example, when I first started playing, I was going to back the Empire 100%, but later in the playthrough I was almost done with the Civil War, I went to Windhelm and heard Ulfric's speech to Galmar, and it just had me thinking if I chose the wrong side. Anyone have any moments like that in Skyrim, or just me?

Ulfric did the opposite for me. First time I heard about his challenge and how he used the voice in a duel of honor. I decided to just skip the war.

I regretted killing Madanach the instant I stepped out of Cidhna mine and saw Thonar. I killed Thonar after the quest ended and from that point on I never helped him again.

I wish I hadn't rushed into doing the Civil War instead of Season Unending my first time. I could have had both.

I did a few quests for the Dark Brotherhood before discovering that you could destroy it. Didn't have a previous save so I was stuck with it. I tried killing Astrid but nothing worked. :/

The instant the I saw the children and former Jarls sitting in the cramped basemant of the Blue Palace in Solitude, after I had done my first Stormcloak. I would never fight for independence again.
