I got this new HP laptop , i've been using it a little for small stuff like work etc.

But i am getting this black screen. But right now it's working fine. I checked everything like the ram, the hard drive, the bios, etc everything is working properly. The screen is working properly right now. i can adjust brigtness and everything. what could it be? I think that if i turn it off the screen will stay black again.

Could it be a screen saver with no image? That's the only thing popping into my head.
