Moved trees in CK plug-in don't move in-game. Any ideas?

If I move the position of a tree in the CK, and load the plugin, the only thing affected is the scale. The X/Y/Z coordinates remain locked as if they are not being read from the plugin. This work has been quadruple checked in TES5Edit, to not only ensure the values have changed, but also that the specific trees in question are the ones being effected, and everything is OK. The fact that altering the scale works perfectly shows me that the plugin itself is actually loading OK, but position values are being ignored.

I cleared the cell buffer (PCB) but that didn't do anything.

Is there something else that needs to be done when moving trees? Is there some sort of landscape cache I don't know about? I've spent several hours doing everything I can think of, with no success. I can't understand why it's not working, especially when many mods (houses/town overhauls/etc.) reposition landscape occasionally to make room for their objects.

Sounds like a persistence issue. Have you tried starting a new game and then checking your trees?

It might also have something to do with LOD's?
