I've just finished my first-time through and loved it -- except for the ending. The ending is well-done but something of a letdown after all that effort. Nevertheless, I know there are numerous places I haven't been and numerous characters I haven't met so want to begin again. I was pretty much a goody-two-shoes throughout, but brought my karma down to neutral by killing one good person but will do the GOAT test somewhat differently this time. And distribute my skill points differently, too. SO I'm interested in what YOU did after your first time through.

do you have the expansions? you can go to level 30 and the game doesn't have a definite ending.

right i am using energy weapons and explosive as major weapon skills with small guns has a minor. using ranger armor for medium armor instead of power armor.

sometimes i am good and sometimes i am evil and blow up megaton.

1st playthrough - Scavenger, pack-rat, Goody-two-shoes, friendly.

2nd playthrough - Scavenger, pack-rat, d0uchebag, hostile.

3rd playthrough - Killed everything that I could kill.

First play-through i did small guns

Second i did sneak and unarmed

Man, get that Chinese stealth suit a power fist and punch everyone for sneak critical your basically invincible ( fun for sometime then gets boring )

Third i did Energy weapons,armed,FWE , MMM and no fast travel with slow level mod ......Woooaaahhh Awesomeest ever

MMM - Mart's Mutant Mod

FWE is an overall of many of the game's mechanics and MMM adds a number of new creatures, as well as changing how the existing creatures work and are placed into the game world.

No power armor and no fast travel. Changes the game alot.
