Question regarding the Dremora

Post » Thu Apr 02, 2015 5:31 am

Hi everyone, apologies if anything in this post doesn't make sense or is flatout wrong - I am coming back to the Elder Scrolls after a long hiatus!

I am toying with the idea of starting some sort of 'Crusader' character, (for lack of a better name) that basically hunts evil beings, demons etc. I understand the Dremora are essentially a form of evil that come from the planes of Oblivion, and I also understand that these creatures/characters can be found in Morrowind. My question is, how many of them are actually in the world of Morrowind? For instance if I level my character up to the standard to be able to fight the Dremora, will there be enough of them to keep me occupied? I fear that there are only a few of these creatures around and therefore it wouldn't make a very interesting playthrough in the end!

Sorry for posting this here but I don't want to make two threads - but what is the situation like in Skyrim with these Dremora? Are they also present there and in greater/fewer numbers?

Thanks!

At low levels you can easily find weak daedra like Scamp, Clannfears and Flame Atronachs.
And at high levels, the more powerful daedra are added to the leveled list. Dremora, Storm Atronachs, Ogrim, Hunger, Winged Twilight, etc

So you can find an infinite amount of them.

It's the same in Skyrim.
If an enemy is on a leveled list (as most are) they do eventually respawn.

Also add Dremora Lord to the list of being a powerful daedra.

Aren't all Atronachs consider not to be a servant for a Daedra Prince.

Brilliant, thanks so much for the fast replies guys! I've been thinking of doing this for a long time now for sure.

I was thinking of possibly even turning it into a Let's Play when I get more used to the Morrowind mechanics again, but I'm not sure if there's too much of a demand out there for a Let's Play of Morrowind to be honest! So I'll have to think about it.

Thanks again :)

You can also summon dremora lords by picking up offerings at the altars in daedric shrines. Maybe you can work this into your RP some how. I'd personally see it as kind of like the final cleansing of a shrine.
