Easter this weekend folks, do you do anything special? For me it's a big family meal sunday and eating too much I expect. Also just out of curiosity do our American cousins have easter eggs or is it just something we have in the UK for no apparent reason?

Easter eggs as in...Paschal Eggs? Those have a good reason in Christian tradition.

My plan is to go for a photo hike in the countryside this weekend, but that depends on weather.

There is a reason. Easter eggs are a Pagan fertility symbol. ēostre is a Germanic divinity that predates Christianity.

My friends an I were laughing at the Easter bunny in our shopping mall. The guy looks creepy as [censored]. xD

If it's a nice day then I might go out for a run or something. Maybe pick up some jerky along the way.

Easter doesn't mean anything to me. Most of my schedule will be the same.

You would have a field day at my uni campus, rabbits everywhere. Three currently grazing just outside my window as i type this.
