So I just recently finished the dawnguard questline and during the last quest where you

I experienced a serious drop in fps. I thought it was because of my laptop and the amount of npc's on the screen but apparently not. On that save file the fps remains low anywhere I go after the end of that quest even if I'm all alone in small seperate loading cell. If I start a new game the fps is back to normal...

Anyone knows what happened? thank you!

edit: also loading a previous save from that character fixes the framerate. But my last previous safe is really early in the dawnguard questline so I don't really want to do it all again. Something got broken during that last quest.

So the Frame rates drop permanently everywhere? Is this repeatable? Meaning can you load a previous save and do the questline again? I know you relaly don't want to but, I wonder if you can simply try to advance the questline with the console.

Are you using mods?

Yes, they are everywhere on that savegame. I'll reload an older safe, forward the questline through the console to the point were it dropped and see what happens.

Yes i use mods, but only a small handfull and it all works fine on other savegames.
