[Story] A Morag Tong Assassin, sent to Skyrim.

I came up with this story one night while laying in bed. Though I wanted to join Beyond Skyrim as a lore master, and writer. ( I think I can come up with some pretty interesting stuff, that's lore friendly). I still need to practice some. So here it is. Though I'm doing this a little different than usual you see. I wanted to PLAY my story.. Quite literally. I have the story made up already from start to finish. I've incorporated quests, and storyline from Skyrim into it, however, with twists.. plot twists, and turns throughout for an ending. I hope is very enjoyable, and one you may not see coming. Though I won't be able to play all of my story, it is taking place with the character I am currently playing as and as you read, for those of you who are very much into Role Playing and immersion, can believe for all intents and purposes, you are literally reading the story of a character which is alive and kicking at this very moment and has for as much as the game allows me too, has done everything which I write, while still at the same time mixing things up heavily.

It may seem a little confusing at the moment, but I'm sure after you read my first rendition of what has transpired up to this point, you'll get what I mean. Please know however, this is still very much a story in progress. No, not a Work in Progress, I've already got the story figured out, but.. I still need to live it and play it don't I?

Note: this is very much for my own gain, and your pleasure. If I get any of the "Lore" wrong, or you wish to ask me why I chose something etc. Please feel free to correct, or ask me. If you have pointers for my writing, how to make it better, more catchy, or where you feel it may lack, please feel free to comment on that as well. I hope over all you'll still enjoy it as much as I enjoy playing it and writing it.

My name? Well that's not important now is it? What is important is that I write my thoughts and ideals on parchment that is as fragile as a life, and dare I say, just as easily read. Let's start with what I can tell you. For this is my story. While whoever may, in the future read this. It won't be for ages after all is done and of no consequence. Until then. Discretion is important. I have enemies.. Many enemies, and in the past several months I have easily doubled what I had before coming to Skyrim.

For who may be reading this, you may refer to me as Blood Lotus. A Dunmer born and raised in Morrowind. Dark clouds, ashe, and inhospitable land is home to me. Perhaps that's why I've settled near Markarth. Somehow, it reminds me of the area around Red Mountain, while looking out from my dwelling at the Throat of the World. Reminds me of home. Not to sound sentimental, even a Wild Troll will feel at ease in an area which reminds it of a familiar place. My familiar place is Morrowind, more specifically Vvardenfell. The central Island which Morrowind encompasses on 3 sides. Born in the Guild Hall in Vivec of the Morag Tong no less.

So you may be thinking, what is a Morag Tong Assassin doing in Skyrim? The answer is more complex than you'd think. As of writing this testament of my life, I am but only half way through my mission and services, for you see, my job is not yet done. Thus I come back to the discretion which I must take. My... leader which I will refer to as my Shadow, has instructed I begin writing now, while my memories are fresh. Though that jeopardizes our plans, I cannot argue.

The Morag Tong, although an official Guild is not seen with friendly eyes. The destruction of the politics and land throughout Morrowind has increased this hatred towards any guild which snuffs life out even further. The Corsairs though in usual disagreements with the Dark Brotherhood, has since caused the near destruction of the Dark Brotherhood by their own hand, and has recently taken up arms in direct confrontation with us. They have already sent assault parties against our guilds headquarters several times. Morrowind being heavily Imperially influenced, as well as the Morag Tong being seen as an honorable and official guild by the Empire has, well.. fractured the Empire even further. These ruptures reach all the way to the Cyrodiilic capital itself; at least politically.

The Emperor however, has formerly denied our request to stop the Corsairs official declaration of war against us. He is also considering disbanding the Morag Tong as an official guild, whether this is because of pressure in the capital, or the fact the Morag Tong has with each coming of age, been seen more and more as just an off shoot of the despicable Dark Brotherhood, I do not know.
Beacause of these events The Shadow has formulated a plot, the over all goal though I wish not to say, will bring Tamriel to it's knee's, and the rightful rulers to the throne once more. My first series of missions? To spy and assist the Imperials in the Civil War. The Conflict is weakening Cyrodiil as we speak, and if the Morag Tong is going to succeed, we cannot have another full scale war. My Second task. To use a special pendant to trap Dragon Souls, and convince Skyrim I am the Dragonborn of Legend. Of course... I'm not truly the Dragonborn.. Are you surprised? I hope you are, for that means I've done my job in the future. Both of these I have succeeded in. The Stormcloaks are beaten, and I have already captured multiple souls. Though I've yet to parley with the Greybeards, I fear my sweet words that convince a drunken guard will not be enough to convince them. I will need to practice unleashing the pendants power in a more believing way to trick those who use it for real.

Those two tasks were the easiest however. The Dark Brotherhood has been a pain in the side of the Morag Tong for ages. Now at their weakest, we will poise to strike. Though no official "Writ of Merit", we will for the time being, take a leaf out of the Dark Brotherhoods book and use it against them. Darkness and deceit. Though I pray to Mephala for forgiveness, it is the only way. We knew about a child praying to the Dark Brotherhood in their own ritualistic ways. We also know the Dark Brotherhood has been absent in representing themselves, but wouldn't stay quiet for to much longer. My mission was to take the contract, and take the notice of the Dark Brotherhood.. Which I did. It worked gloriously. In-fact, far better than I could have imagined. Not only was I welcomed as one of them, The Night Mother, in all of her "Wisdom" made me the Listener. Yes, I heard her shallow, evil voice. A voice full of death and despair. A voice, that chills the very core of your bones and soul. A voice.. I am glad I silenced forever. Her "gift" to me, was her downfall, as it helped me start the second part of our plan.. To enact their ritual, the Black Sacrament, and wish for the Emperor himself to be killed by a Dark Brotherhood Assassin. We know they cannot say no. They must do something to allow their cult to be reborn, and the Night Mother won't ignore a Black Sacrament plea. We've already swayed someone.. very close to the Emperor to do this ritual. With my vial of mind altering poison, I was able to manipulate the mind of Astrid, the leader. Though her own demons in her mind, I may not have even needed it. I told her under the solutions power, to betray the Night Mothers wish, and inform the Imperial Guard of the job. Why do this? It's simple. We kill two birds with a single arrow. The Imperials will want revenge, and Astrid will inform them of their last remaining hideout and burn it. While the Imperials believe the Dark Brotherhood is killed, I will finish off the last remaining members, and the Emperor while they least expect it.

Yes, I assisted in the burning of the last Dark Brotherhood hideout. Though I needed at least one to stay alive. The Imperials were informed to fall back and allow at least one to live apart from me. My final act in this part was almost my last. With a relic of Mephala, and a pendant which is able to trap souls, I enclosed myself inside the sarcophagus with the Night Mother. The thought of it still makes my stomach wrench. I was to rip her soul from Sithis himself, and trap it inside the pendant. No, not the same one as the dragons, that is of a dwemer relic The Shadow somehow obtained. Infused Soul Gems and very powerful Dwemer mysteries empower that pendant, no this is a different one, the Star of Azura. With both Deadric Artifacts in my possession, I was able to force the Night Mothers soul into the star, and rip it from Sithis's domain and grasp. Several hours after the fires died down, the two remaining Dark Brotherhood members opened the tomb I was in. I was ready. The Demon Child, and Redoran were taken by complete surprise. The Dark Brotherhood was officially dead.
I had to travel quickly back to Solitude. Though the Imperial employed by the Morag Tong could delay the Emperors departure, he could only make excuses for so long. 2 AM that night, I slipped into the water off the docks, and climbed through the port hole which the anchor chain resides. Much respects must be given to the Emperor. He not only understood it had to be done, but also understood why I was forced to do it because of his decision against the Morag Tong. He died with my respects.

As of now. I sit at a table on a porch high up in the mountains overlooking Markarth. All of Tamriel believes the Emperor was killed by a remaining Dark Brotherhood Assassin, which keeps them off of my trail. I am hidden under a false name, and the populace of Skyrim know me only as the Dragonborn. The Mountain my estate now resides on is officially called Dragonborn Peak. I've recently been building fortifications at the base, and a small town between the base and upper quarters where my estate resides, which all but helps keep up my false front.

There is still much to do. My Mission barely complete, yet so much having already been done.. What surprises tomorrow brings.. Time will tell.
